Better late than never! I’m super embarrassed to say this phrase applies to this very late (6 months kinda late) post. I feel awful that I’ve only gotten around to it now but grateful that the images are as beautiful as I remembered it to be. After many years dreaming of adding stylized sessions into my photography, I decided to finally put my ideas into reality and there was no better person to practice on than on my daughter. The thought process came down to this: I needed a concept, then find clothing options, matching props, and a perfect setting to make it all come together. The theme was easy – I simply knew it had to reflect my love for all things bohemian. Clothing was pulled from pieces in her own closet. Setting was merely a block away from home. Vintage books were mine as a child. Stuffy came from her personal collection. And finally, the tent and vintage suitcase was rented from a fellow wedding vendor and…ta-da!! I certainly thought it would’ve been harder than it actually was! It was so much fun and I’m now completely obsessed! I’m also happy that I have something special to give to Taylor that she can treasure forever. Can’t wait to start planning the next session!
