I’m freshly back from my vacation and reclaimed my love for two things: Mexico and Horses. It’s not like I despised either of them – who can really hate hot destinations and beautiful animals? My adoration for Mexico came to a halt after my 5th time there and I was starting to get a little bored. My admiration of horses came to a halt when the doctor told me I was deathly allergic to them. Yikes! However, this second visit to Los Cabos was amazing and I had the most wonderful time! We stayed in a fabulous resort and I indulged in every way possible. It was relaxing and carefree…something my soul has been craving for a very long time. It also just happened that a couple of my friends and their families were down there for vacations as well. Julie lives in Vancouver – so it’s not often we run into each other but when she asked if I could do a mini family session for her – I was more than happy to do so! Besides, I’ve been aching to shoot! We only crossed paths on one single day so with some good planning – I was able to meet her family at her resort to catch the remaining hour of sun left in the day. It just so happened a horse was waiting there – as if to ask to be part of our shoot! How could I resist! He was such a beautiful addition that I didn’t care about the allergies! It was perfect. I’m so in love with these images!
