How many people out there have a travel bucket-list? I DO I DO I DO!! If you follow my travel posts – you can see how much I travel and how much I love to explore new territories. That being said, my list is actually quite extensive + well, getting bigger by the day. One destination on my list is the Bahamas. It’s somewhere I’ve dreamed about going for years and my dream came true this past December when my family and I took a week off and indulged at the Atlantis resort. It was everything we expected + more. There was so much to do there…it never got boring! The adults loved it…the kiddies loved it…needless to say, the week went by too fast + we didn’t get a chance to do everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend adding this place to your checklist if you have one…and if you don’t, I suggest you make one and start dreaming! I’m sure it’ll be just as wonderful for you as it was for me! And while you are there, be sure to visit Dolphin Cay! Unlike many dolphin experiences in the Carribbean, Dolphin Cay is one of the largest + most sophisticated marine habitats + dolphin rescue/rehabilitation facility in the world! The first residents of Dolphin Cay were 16 rescued dolphins, who were swept to sea during Hurricane Katrina. Also, if you dare to try new things, drive into town where the local restaurants serve traditional Bahamian fares such as fried conch…delicious!!
